About The Role

Locations: Banbury, Brackley, Bicester, Aylesbury, Wendover

As a Logistics Operative we require you to provide guidance and delivery within your assigned area on all matters relating to logistics. This includes Materials and Equipment Management; Area logistic and security operations including the off-site logistic consolidation; Vehicle Management including access control, fleet operations and maintenance; Support Logistics including welfare, refuelling and catering and waste management.

We’ll need you to implement policies and processes to ensure the Operational Support team is safe, effective and efficient whilst concurrently educating staff with industry concepts, practices and procedures.

We’d also like you to ensure that the Operational Support Strategy is adhered to and provide guidance on all Operational Support area. Ensuring the business complies with regulations and update policies and processes when required and maintain records, proving that the vehicle fleet is compliant with regulations.

We’d like you to be able to control and reduce operating costs, providing specialist knowledge relating to Operational Support management.

About You

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Distribution, Transport, Warehousing or Construction environment
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas - Desirable:
    • Military Logistics
    • Construction Logistics
    • Manufacturing Logistics
    • Retail Logistics
    • Resource Logistics (Waste, Water, Fuel etc.)
    • Inventory Management
