About The Role

At EKFB (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

We’re recruiting for an Event Coordinator/Driver on a part time (20-30hrs) 12 month fixed term contract to coordinate face-to-face public events with our Mobile Visitor Centre (MVC) along the HS2 line of route corridor between Great Missenden and Southam.

A key part of this role is to ensure the MVC is collected from/returned to Bicester, driven to a pre-agreed locations and set-up prior to each event (typically 2 to 3 half-days per week). To support the events you will capture feedback and actions, maintain stock levels and ensure that the vehicle and event environment is safe and clean at all times.

To assist the wider engagement team you'll support with local promotion, such as collecting event flyers and door-to-door delivery, and plan and attend wider event programmes both virtually and face-to-face. You'll build relationships with a variety of different stakeholders, such as members of the community and the wider project team.

  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to drive a fleet vehicle (training will be provided)
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside office hours/seasonally
