About The Role

Our Environment team are currently recruiting for a Clerk of Works - Landscape. In this role you will manage the implementation of ESMPs and LMMMPs, We will also need you to ensure that the SCEW requirements are adhered to regarding the delivery, placement and maintenance of planting.
 
We will need you to review the condition of plants upon delivery to site, and ensure that planting schemes are implemented as per the design. We will need you to ensure that the engineering team and any supply chain understand the environmental aspects and impacts and what actions are required of them.
 
Your assistance will be needed with the implementation of BS EN ISO14001 certification and audit against the standard and internal procedures. We expect you to support our supply chain activities to raise environmental and sustainability standards across the project.
 
You will work in collaboration with the wider Environment Team, client, designers, community, stakeholder and public relations managers to ensure the programme is achieved.
 
Lastly, we expect you to lead by example and promote good practice relating to environmental management and sustainability, sharing best practice and learning throughout your time on the project.

About You

  • Member of an appropriate professional body
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience if influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of driving improvements to systems and processes
  • Good inter-personal skills and the ability to form successful working relationships
  • A full driving license is required
