EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects. EKFB Are looking to recruit a Project Manager for Archaeological Works that will lead and support an archaeological contractor in line with the section objectives and strategy.
This position will be responsible for planning and overseeing the route wide archaeological programme for the Project is delivered in line with the EKFB and HS2 policies and procedures, in accordance with the schedule and within the agreed budget. Working closely with the Project Managers / Site Managers to ensure consistency of delivery over the Section & Project.
The Project Manager must ensure compliance with HS2 technical standards and all statute, standards and company policies, procedures including health, safety, environment and quality. The role will also develop, implement, and coordinate the delivery strategy for this programme of works, ensuring the timely procurement of Work Packages across the Projects.
This role will be responsible for developing and updating a detailed schedule of Works for the Section. Providing regular performance feedback to our contractor on the schedule against Project milestones and internal / Contract KPI’s. The role will also be responsible for delivering the Works in line with the budget. Monitor & report progress against a commercial baseline and ensure change management procedures are captured when required.
The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the EKFB assurance progress for the Works, ensuring evidence is collected, managed and accepted by client / stakeholders as Works are completed.
This position will establish and maintain effective formal and informal relationships with customers and key stakeholders and actively support and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work while supporting and complying with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
