About The Role

At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

As an Assistant Traffic Manager, you will be responsible for safe and efficient delivery of Temporary Traffic Management across Area C23 of the HS2 project.

We will need you to provide guidance on temporary traffic management and transport of materials to site across the project. We would like you to ensure design compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. You will also be involved in maintaining the Highways Consents Register and investigating all incidents on the highway involving HS2.

The role will be varied and will require you to manage all aspects of Highways Consents and Temporary Traffic Management and the submission of consents to the Street Manager.

We will also be expecting you to ensure that the Local Traffic Management plans are adhered to and provide guidance to the delivery teams on matters relating to transport and temporary traffic management.

It is essential that you ensure the business complies with the requirements of the Act regarding temporary highways consents. We would also value your input in reduction of operating costs.
