About The Role

At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

We’re recruiting for a Technical Administrator to join our central team based in Milton Keynes.

In this role you will provide diligent and methodical administrative support to the SH&W Function. You will be supporting the Security & Site Access Team with daily administration and verification of personnel competencies, following the business processes and procedures.

Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders of varying levels, you will be managing their expectations in terms of delivery of appropriate and accurate information. You will assist with the management of data within the EKFB onboarding process and gather and interpret data to produce internal and external reports. You will be focussed on the handling and manipulation of Key Performance Indicators and Reporting Data. 

The role requires you to develop and maintain an up to date and detailed understanding of the project and the needs of the client, as well as other internal and external stakeholders. You will be required to build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders by adopting the most appropriate approach to deal with people and situations. You'll anticipate, respond to and seek to exceed the needs and expectations set out by the organisation.

You must convey accurate information effectively using the most appropriate methods to reflect the needs of the audience and ensure mutual understanding. It is essential that you respond positively to changing business circumstances and able to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.

About You

  • Strong administration background including experience in data entry, management of team calendars, collating information and reporting
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Packages
  • Experience of industry training and competency schemes including CITB, NOCN, ILM, City & Guilds, etc. 
  • Excellent Organisational skills
  • Good Interpersonal skills, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Good communicator with excellent grammar
  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C Maths and English
  • Ability to work within a team and be flexible
  • Ability to work to, and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience of Biosite, Mosaic or other access control and competency management systems is desirable
