About The Role

At EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

We’re recruiting for a Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our Operational Support Control Room team. This role is based near Bicester and will require you to be in the office. You will need to hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle to be able to access our office location.

As a Logistics Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries to our 43 work sites are managed in line with the requirements set by HS2.

You will monitor and report on Supply Chain performance and will be liaising with suppliers, hauliers, and drivers. Using a state-of-the-art bespoke software system, you will implement policies and processes to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of supplies whilst concurrently educating staff with industry concepts, practices and procedures.

The role will require you to update policies and processes when required and maintain records, proving that all deliveries are compliant with regulations.

Working from an office in Bicester the role is varied and rewarding. Occasional visits to other HS2 locations and supplier offices will be required periodically.

About You

  • Experience using O365 including Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Previous experience in Logistics is preferred
  • You must hold a driving license to be considered for the role, the location is remote and is not easily accessible
