About The Role

At EKFB (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

We’re looking to recruit a Geologist to join our team, based in the North Chilterns area. In this role you can expect to collect spatially located geological and geomorphological information as exposed by the construction activities, using field techniques and remote sensing techniques where appropriate.

You’ll be required to record the spatially located information to an agreed standard and in an agreed format. You’ll supply geological and geomorphological data to satisfy the requirements of the Client.

We’d like you to assist the Senior Geologist in the production of agreed methods, standards, techniques recording and storage of geological and geomorphological data prior to the collection process. We’d also like you to assist the Senior Geologist in the review and refining of the above during the period of collection.

About You

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree/HNC (Geology related) qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Able to comprehend and understand complex three-dimensional geological situations
  • Strong data management, quantitative, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong capability in the recording of geological features to the relevant British and/or International Standards.
