We’re currently looking for an Assistant Environmental Project Manager based in Milton Keynes.
In this role you will be supporting the Route Wide Environment Project Managers with coordination of Landscape, Water Resources, Ecology, and Noise and Vibration deliverables. Interfacing with the design team and Design interface manager to clarify scope of works and build tender/delivery scope packages where required.
You will be responsible for development and creation of ITP's through identification of delivery and evidencing requirements. Assurance of Environmental Delivery and Consent obligations, ensuring evidence aligns with ITP's, and client and regulator requirements and is delivered to a uniformed standard across all project sectors.
You will work closely with the Environment COW team to accurately track delivery progress, tracking, reporting and co-ordination in line with client technical standards and expectations.
You will also have high level management of delivery ensuring consistency of works, materials, methodology and reporting across all sections route wide. Supporting engagement with the local authority and stakeholders to ensure that U&A's and environmental minimum requirements are met and evidenced accordingly. You will contribute to the assurance that the SCEW requirements are adhered to and associated technical assurance requirements.
Part of this role is to assist in the management of client and subcontractor early warnings and chair risk reduction meetings to assist in their resolution. Assist in the maintenance of programmes for reporting and demonstrating compliance with applicable legislation and industry best practice. Assist with the implementation of BS EN ISO 14001 certification and audit against the standard and internal procedures.
In addition, you will work in collaboration with the wider Environmental Team, client, designers, community, stakeholder and public relations managers to ensure the delivery of work is fit for purpose and programme is achieved.
