About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
 
EKFB are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the project working on an 80km stretch of HS2.
 
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of relationships with clients and suppliers, managing commercial assistants when part of a team.

We’d like you to provide to the Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor, on a period basis, internal and external figures for both current and forecast positions to the senior commercial team.

You’ll also be responsible for the production of records and reports, sub-contract accounts, contra charges and sundry accounts. Preparation of external / internal valuations. Providing training as appropriate.

About You

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Related HNC/Degree or equivalent
  • Experienced in similar role in the Construction or Civil Engineering industry
  • Good communication skills are essential
  • Experienced in stakeholder management
  • Must be an excellent organiser with proven time management skills
